the lake behind me has no ice on it...nothing...not even in the coves...

there should be at least 2 feet or more by now..

upstate new hampshire where my sled is...nothing...no snow to groom
gotta trailer 8 miles to "rideable" terrain...

I've been thinking the same thing. But you never know, we may get "ZAPPED" in March.

Even the west coast of Canada si warmer than usual, more rain than normal.

The weather channel said the warmer than usual weather was due to a large cold air system from the artic hanging east of the North America, this allowed the warmer pacific air to hang around the coast, and in land.

Europe has it rough this winter.

Yes, but it depends where you live.
Haven't seen much winter here.
Other parts have seen lots of snow and record minimum temperatures up to -40 Celsius.

Isn't Global Warming great!!! I live in the infamous "Snow Belt". We are more than 28" behind last year! I'm lovin it. On a sadder note, one of the guys at work dropped $8k on a new sled in November , sucks to be him...

Around here the weather forecasters are saying we will be back to the conditions we had in December, in a few weeks, and it will last for the month of February and maybe longer.

Oh well we will see what that dam groundhog says tomorrow morning.

It has been very warm here in N.E. Florida where during the winters it does get cool sometimes. I think we have had maybe 3 nights where it has got down to freezing temperatures. Usually by this time, we have at least 10 or more days of freezing temps. I know that is nothing to you guys up north where it gets real cold during the winters, but many people here have been wearing shorts all year long and that is not normal even for here.

One good thing about these warm temps is lots of skimpy clothing all year long.

I think it has something to do with the Tsunami. This is my kind of topic. I can read this stuff for hours, so...

Debate?

Back me up?

Anyone?

Yah, it's been a really tough winter here in the Great White North....

Becky Robar checks out the tanning conditions at Waterfront Park on Wednesday. With record warm temperatures in January, it may not be much longer before she can head back to the beach for real.

regards

Not much of a debater, but i will try to get it started for you.

You are in Texas, what makes you think you know about Tsunamis? Unless you are an accredited meteorologist, i think you are wrong in your thinking.

It is my understanding that the ice caps are melting, and making water not snow. Everyone knows it is warmer when it rains.

What sucks is that once the ice melts, i will have nothing to put in my drink.

Okay, so it doesn't make sense, but I tried.

Next up.
