In the wake of super high gas prices, is anyone truly surprised that ExxonMobil posted record high profits in 2005?

This is the third or fourth year in a row that they have had "steadily increasing" record profits...

With steadily increasing demand, I would imagine they would have steadily increasing profits.

thats why I refuse to pay for gas anymore... (you didn't hear that from me!)

 

I won't complain about ExxonMobile. They're a proponent of Ethanol fuel use so that's a in my book.

 

does not matter to me....I am moving to a new apt this weekend which is 2mi from the office....so I will be biking it day-to-day from now on.....


Work gave us a free membership to the Y (here at work) so I got to work this beer gut off before boating season starts again....so might as well bike to work in addition to the new routine.....(I think this is better suited for the Fat Bastard thread).....

 

Me either, its usually the others that pay for it when i do get gas.
