anyone seen the new camaro or challanger
I had read that GM would not be able to name the car CAMARO being that the Canadian company which they made a deal with owns the rights to be the sole assembly plant for the Camaro and Firebirds. GM wanted to close the plant down and the Canadian plant gave GM a tax free 10year? loan to keep the plant open so that Canadian Union workers would not lose their jobs but GM (going bankrupt) could not fulfill the contract and still closed the plant after about 6 years when the vehicle was no longer being profitable.(as was agreed)
Cool car but, it looks too much like the Cadillac XLR -- the one that mimicks the Vette' (actually made in the same plant too -- not sure of the model name -- although I drove by the Corvette plant today... ha!)..
I guess they're playing 'how many sport cars can we make that look almost exactly alike?'
