GM in the Driveway

I know, I know this is a Ford site!
Can anyone here give out GM in Driveway certificates>??? Looking to make a purchase today and am waiting on a couple folks from the Chevy boards but don't want to miss out. I want a Duramax to tow the Lightning. -Mat-

Tough crowd.
The reason why is because my GM Card is giving me $2000 in incentives. The dealer is giving a killer deal. Also the Duramax's stay together!!!
To the first reply, when you race a low 10 second vehicle at the track you want piece of mind in case something goes wrong. -Mat-

And yet your going to buy a chevy....

JK

But really i think you need to check out the powerstroke. I mean im all about brand loyalty so no matter how cheap they are selling chevies i will always buy a ford. I dont go for the best deals, i stick with Ford.

Buy a Ford, I'll beat their best deal.

It is an 06' 3500 Crew Cab Dually 4x4. The 6.0L from Ford just doesn't hold up. They like to blow head gaskets and eat coolant. My father had an 04' and had that issue along with Tranny issues. I plan on doing some mods and don't need issues like that. Not to mention Ford's boring interior. They did good things on the new F-150, not sure what is holding them back on the Super Duties. -Mat-

Boring interiors? Seriosly have you even looked at an 05+ superduty? Pretty sure their interiors arnt "boring" for a truck. Especially comparing them to the dull, plasticy, horrid interiors of the chevy. I know alot of guys around here that have the 6.0L powerstroke and are trouble free. Ive ridden in a GMC 2500 with the duramax out to wyoming on a 13 hour trip. Its gut less compared to the powerstoke if you ask me.

And they are waiting until 2007 to completely redesign them and make the interiors far more luxurious like our F-150's.

It could be worse though, he could be looking at buying a toyota truck or Nissan truck. I give anyone credit though for staying with the American trucks. who cares if it's Ford, Dodge, or Chevy, they all have great trucks and are American Trucks that rule this earth so far!

Ford had the problem in 04 with the 6.0 motors. Now the motors are fine and worth buying. Not sure why you are switching brands. Ford will tow more weight and also the interior is very nice on them. Get a Lariat Edition if you want the wood and all. Ford would outpull Chevy anyday.
