Heading Out To The Game!!!

Go Broncos!!!!

The guy I work with is a die hard Steelers fan, so I'm taking him with me. Should be a great game. Probably a better game the the Bowl will be. Only problem is that it's a 2 1/2 hour trip to Denver from here, and one of us will not be in such a great mood for the ride home.

Actually, we are both overjoyed that neither the Patsies or the Colts are going, so it makes today's win/loss much easier.

Yadda yadda.

Well, 1969Mach -- enjoy your sucky ride home!

I feel for you -- in 1998, when my beloved Minnesota Vikings lost in overtime to the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship game, I had to ride with my boss the next day. He was from Georgia and the biggest "bandwagon" Falcons fan you could find!

That game was such a disappointment to me that I didn't feel "right" again until late February or early March....

OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!

I just got home, and the ride wasn't so bad. Steelers are my #2 team, so this loss isn't as bad as it would have been against the Colts. Still, just so totally sucks. The guy that went with me was a pretty good sport about the whole thing, so it's cool.

Jake Plummer isn't anywhere close to the caliber of Big Ben. The Steelers have a heck of a QB, and at 23 years old, I suspect they will be in this role for a few years.

Congrats to you Steelers fans! Now go kick some tailfeathers!

The steelers are going to beat the seahawks so bad
I think Carolina and Pitt. would have been a better matchup but either way the steelers are going to win.

Heh, you think Carolina and Pittsburgh would have been a better matchup, because the Steelers would have had a better chance?

Better matchup how? The Hawks just destroyed Carolina so you don't want anything to do with Seattle? Sorry Bettis, you must retire without the ring.
