So the little lady had AOL at her old apartment. She used it mostly for email access. At my house; I have broadband so she has no use for AOL but she doesnt want to lose here email address. Is that possible? Anything special that needs to be done so she can stop paying AOL each month but still use her address? I'm not at all familiar with AOL.

Shouldn't be a problem. I registered with them to get the AIM stuff and they gave me an AOL add'y along with it. I've never paid them before. I think I still have it. Pretty sure anyone can get one for free.

Might want to wait for a reply from someone who actually KNOWS, but I am 93.2% sure she can keep it and not pay.

They do have some broadband access which is cheaper but not free. They discount it because you aren't using their dialup any longer.
