Question The next F1Fiddy?

This is the Ford Super Chief concept, styled after the Super Chief trains of past.

Some say this is the future style of Ford trucks. The supercharged 10 sounds good. Not totally sold on the style. There are some things I like and some things I dont.

Thumbs up

Except for the front end being a bit heavy-handed and the steering wheel looking like a cutting board, I like it. Details may change, but I'd bet that's the new F250 body for sure. I could see myself in one of those.

Yeah, the wheel is maple I think it said, as is the floor. Wouldnt want the airbag going off with that wood there. Pretty sure that heavy front is what would stay. I kind of like it though.

I bet the same design team that did the Bronco concept did this one. They would look good next to each other.

Yeah mean this Bronco. I did like that also.

Does seem to be similar in design..

The heavy three bar grill is on its way at Ford, like it or not.

That's the one.

The three bar grill is OK, but the front of that truck just looks a little 'large' to me, with a lot going-on visually. I like the hint of the three bar theme on the tailgate...if there is a tailgate.

Doesnt look like it there, but in the write up in the paper it said it could swing open from either side. Dont remeber it saying if it dropped like a normal gate.

I am bumming because I cant go the the car show this year or I would find out a few more details..

Maybe if Dzervitsss went he could shed some light on it.

I don't care for either the Bronco or the Super Chief.

I don't like interior at all on the Chief and I really don't care much for the way they make the top looked "chopped", I do kinda like the tailgate(?) though. The Bronco, I just don't like it.

Tone it down and square up the front and back (especially the back) a bit and it might be ok. The interior is hideous, but I doubt they'd ever put that inerior into production. Maybe in a lincoln. I kinda like the chopped top look, but I'm sure it make the bed even deeper wich I'm not a fan of. Even in the current model, it's too deep.

I like it. I don't care for the rear end of the truck, the bed looks to be all but non-functional. I like to be able to reach the bed of my truck without beating up the sides of it. Any mention of a diesel? I still dig the Bronco too.
