I think Toyota makes a fine vehicle.

Although I don't know the point of this thread, or what it's doing in the '04-'06 forum.

Looks like someone hit "New Thread," instead of "New Post."

The wife's had two Toyota vehicles and they've run sweet for several years .. .. and she drives them hard!

You won't see me posting anything bad about Toyotas.

They may be reliable, but God forbid it happens, I'd rather be in my Effie than any truck that Toyota makes!

I don't think many people here think Toyotas are 'pos'. But 1; it's an F-150 board, not a toy board. 2; Toyotas are over rated. Not a bad vehicle. They have made some very reliable rides over the years. I have owned four or five of their trucks. They had a lot of good points.
BUT they don't 'drive on water'. When I sold parts I discovered a lot of chronic problems in every Jap brand. Korean stuff was worse. Euro cars have a different set of problems. Point is, Toyota promoters act as if Toys were handed down from on High. They were not.

I don't think there a POS, thats what Kia's are for. I just don't like Jap cars and trucks. I support the U.S, not the other countries

I feel the same way!

This is a FORD truck forum, no room for Toyota talk here!
RP, Please move this post to "general discussion".

eh... all brands got there good and bad I guess. I used to be strictly a ford man and would not be caught dead near a chevy. Well, I put over 50,000 miles on a 91 S-10 in 2004. It had over 250,000 miles on it when I finally parked it due to a cracked manafold. Honestly, I love that little old S-10 and that put a end to my Chevy bashing.

As for toyotas, I just think there ugly with the acception of a few models. My uncle has a 4runner and its a nice truck. Not to fond of the look but the v-8... . Ill give it that, its got *****. My other uncle had a sequia (sp?) for 2 years and vowed to never own another yota, the thing was a pile. The brakes went out one day and he almost ran someone over, that put a end to his ownership of that truck.

Personally though, I buy fords and will keep buying ford because I come from a union family who supports other union familys.

I don't see a problem with leaving it here.

Just got home... I'm in the process of playing 'catch-up'. BTW Triton... you could've clicked the 'report' button once and then, in the text section, told of the additional posts that needed addressing... geesh man -- I had like 22 reported posts today!

((((MOVED TO GENERAL))))
