No scrolling in Firefox on Dual Monitors....

Ok.....I have just recieved my second LCD (Dell 1905FP) this afternoon....I set it up and got everything running....but I have just now noticed a flaw.....

.....If I open Firefox on my secondary monitor....I cannot use the "cruise" option on my Logitech MX1000 (pan buttons).....but these buttons are functional in all other programs on the secondary monitor.....

.....any ideas on how to fix this?

I don't use Firefox because it doesn't support the second scroll wheel on my two wheel laser mouse. The mouse works perfectly with IE. I know you techies have your reasons for disliking IE, but it just plain works for everything I want. Firefox doesn't.

Here you go. I even looked it up for you. 2 wheels, 5 buttons, optical mouse. It's a 3-4 year old design, bought it from Cheap Guys Computers for about $40.
