Isn't the new Camaro supposed to be a high end luxury sports car? I thought I heard something about it having Ferrari like specs with a Ferrari like price tag.
Don't see why Chevy would do that...That would kill the vet sells. Besides, chevy has to have a sports car that can compete with the Mustang and Chargers.

I figure the car will look somewhat like the silver concept but with 17"-18" rims and available with a V-6 as well as a V-8. The SS cars will have the bigger motor and maybe the bigger rims. By then, Chevy will have a LS-2 which will be for the SS and vets...They'll put the LS-1 in the regular V-8 car.

Just my predictions

Too busy! I like the Challenger a lot better. I might wait and get one instead of the GT-500. It won't be as fast; but, it's cool as hell looking.

If they clean it up some, the Camaro has potential. I don't think I'd buy it the way it is. And I've been waiting for the next Camaro for a while.

I like the Camaro concept, but the Challenger pulls on my heartstrings harder, and that is the biggest problem with GM. There is nothing (other than the Vette) in GM's lineup that inspires anyone to want a new car. They don't have any gotta have it vehicles.

Not to mention that I've to put about $1000 worth of electrical parts on my wifes 97 Safari van. In the same amount of time, my F-150 has had one alternator.

The Camaro makes me throw up in my mouth. I showed a pic of this to my boss who is a old GM nut (has a mint 68 427 Vette that is PERFECT and a 69 427 Camaro in work) and he hated it more than me. My Biggest issues are the ghetto fabulous 22" wheels, the cross-eyed front grille. That is until I saw a picture of the rear end, it makes the rest of the car look good.

The Challenger looks much better. However, the chrome outlines in the grille need to go. They look out of place, I see that Dodge is trying to keep a brand similarity but it just looks god awful. It still needs to lose the slammed look. Neither look near as good as the new Mustang, it appears that history repeats itself once again. Ford makes something and GM and Dodge try to follow suite.

I don't bleed Ford blue but the numbers better be impressive.

Otherwise complete and total....

Maybe...

400HP 6.0 LS2 Vette Motor
6 Speed Manual Tranny w/ Wide Space Ratio
14" Rotors
4 Wheel Independant Suspension w/ Progressive Weight Springs
21" Front Wheels
22" Rear Wheels

This is all from Chebby's website.

Butt Ugly Interior, but it does look like the 69's.

LOL...great predictions. The LS2 has been out for 2 years...they don't even make the LS1 anymore.

The Chevy SSR is close enough too.

I'm not sure why everyone else is following in the retro car look, but if Dodge ever came out with the charger that was shown with the purplish color, then it would rock. The one of the Dodge website is hideous. Kinda reminds me of a cross between the Magnum and 300C.

For Camaros, I am a Camaro FANATIC. The first one shown didn't look too good, but the pictures just shown look awesome and I can't wait for that one to come out.

You'd need some kind of seal if that were the case and it wouldnt look as good.

I think they just need to redo the front end and it would look good.
