Are there plans to do something like that to other areas in the Orlando area? There's a few places that could use it. It looks cool.

Last I heard they are planning on widening out 50 from 27 to the turnpike starting this year(that's the area we're in). Traffic get's really backed up out here during rush hour. Still not as bad as 50 going out the east side.

 

Amen to that! Those plans look awesome.

50 widening? That would be nice. Anything from Avalon Park on west needs it.

 

I am finishing up plans to do the same thing at SR 50 and SR 436. We are widening SR 50 to 6 lanes from SR 436 to the entrance to Greenway Ford. There are two more projects to widen SR 50 to 6 lanes from the end of our job all the way out past Bonneville Rd. (past Alafaya). Construction will begin this time next year.
