Too low to be a traffic cam too.

 

Since there was no electricity to run the camera, Its kind of a given............

 

They have this new technology now, battery backup.

 

On a traffic camera????


They dont even have battery back up for the traffic signals themselves.


Why would they put battery back up on a traffic camera for a traffic signal that doesnt work when the power goes off???

 

Since I wasn't saying it was a traffic camera, Maybe it was say, a NEWS camera.

A news camera would not have the little box with camera location nor a radar gun to record the speed.

Besides Katrinas winds were only 133 MPH it would take miles and miles of unobsecured travel and constant wind pressure of 133 mph before a 133mph wind could get a 2000 lb (+) object up to the full speed equal to the wind speed. Plus many other physics to consider. That I dont have time to go into right now.
