What's the deal with the darn weather????

This is the ten day forcast for my area.

Jan. 3rd ... high = 82° F (WTF)

Something isn't right with the weather folks. Maybe the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" is on to something. Is the world gonna come to an end soon?

The earth is just on a natural cycle which will result in the melting of the ice caps and a major climate change; don't worrk bout it.

Are you allowed to light some fireworks in Texas tomorrow.
I heard they want to ban that because of the drought.
What is up with that.

I dont know what you're talking about, 37º here and I have a fire burning.

Highest temp for us in the next 15 days is 60ºF on the Jan 3rd.
That's likely to be wrong.
Would be nice that's teh last day of my vacation and monday and tuesday are teh only days I wont have kids. They go back to school Monday!

Yeah, and if I see anyone shooting new year's fireworks in my neighborhood or anywhere else there'll be hell to pay. The authorities aren't fooling around this year.

True story. YThe drought is bad here. Like 15" below average. I was talking to a guy from Lamar county and he was telling me that due to all the fires, the fire Dept. is over budget, and dont have any more funds to roll on a fire. THATS SCARY right there.

Like Stealth said.....there will be hell to pay if FW go off in my hood too.

I finally saw that movie (Day after tomorrow) this week. It smacked of liberalism and kept throwing junk science in the viewer's face. I dang near turned it off because of the eco-preaching.

Don't forget the dust bowl during the depression or the summerless years in europe. This wierd crap happens all the time.

All the snow melted here while I was out west. There were NASTY storms in the oregon area while I was there 70MPH winds, etc. 30,000 or so people in suburban oregon lost their power for most of christmas.

On the way back ohare was shut down due to fog (in late december???)

It's a wierd one!

At some point the weather will change because of global warming, I hope these aren't those changes. They aren't going to happen overnight though.
