The weather is changing because American's are selfish pigs who drive flashy V8 cars and don't live in 10-story cinder-block buildings.

The only solution is to pull out of Iraq, buy Renault's, and move into housing projects.

I think Global Warming is a bunch of hype created by the liberal political side of things. People are making money off of global warming, so what politician or tree-hugger group wouldn't want to push the idea when their hand is in the cookie jar already. The climate has been changing all throughout time, that's why it's 80 degrees in my area. Next month it'll be cold, then it'll be hot, but it seems as if it will never rain again!

If the general public was educated as to what is fact or fiction I wouldnt get worked up. However, when the people I am watching the film with believe this crap, I know that the general public does as well. They Kyoto protocol would destroy the economies of developed nations and yet the movie promotes it as the answer to our problems. The slick wording that slaps at conservatives is spread throughtout the film if you look for it.

The effects were ok but the story insulted my intelligence on too many levels to go into.

Anyways I'm not really upset just thought the film was junk.

the Earth is a living changing thing. this includes the weather. the Earth started as a ball of dust in space and has evolved to what it is today. it will keep on evolving till it dies or more than likely the sun burns out.
This warm weather is nice though, all the snow melted and its nice to go out without wearing a bunch of clothes. it'll be cold again soon, after all it is winter.

I think the earth is getting closer and closer to the sun every year. That's why we have "global warming". Sooner or later, Mercury will crash into the sun and Venus will be our new Mercury and Earth will take the place of Venus. Eventually Mars will take the place of Earth and life will finally begin to grow on mars. Of course I predict this will take many, many years to complete.

Who says it isnt possible and can you explain why?

well if the sun is burning up, which it, is then its loosing its mass so it will loose its gravity and so we should get further away and eventually fly off in to space.

WELL.... I am doing my part to combat global warming.

You all should also....

1)I drive around with the air conditioning on and the windows down.

2) leave the freezer door open for extended periods of time.

3) Eat cold pizza

4)Turn the house ac on and open the doors and windows.

5) shoot a liberal.

on the news they said at midnight on new years eve they will add 1 second to the clocks. so that means its taking longer to orbit the sun, right?

Or is it collapsing on it's self and eventually become a super nova later turning into a black hole that will suck us in?

1 second ever minute,
1 second every hour
1 second every 24 hours
1 second for one year
1 second gets added every year

No. There isn't EXACTLY 24 hours in a day. It's like 24.068 (I think). We add that second to keep up.

I think the second is for the change in the rotational speed of the earth and the longer orbital rotation is made up by leap year.

I think..............

In another 5 billion years, scientists think that the Sun will become much larger as energy from within makes the outer layers of the Sun expand, eventually becoming red giant. As this happens, most of the inner planets will be destroyed (including Earth). Eventually, after another 100 million years, the Sun will no longer be able to make energy, and will become a white dwarf, the size of a small planet.
Thats it, the end of the world is coming. I'm quitting my job, maxing out my credit cards and making love to as many virgins as i can find
