Who makes those computers PSS?

It's just like Chevy, Ford or Dodge. All a matter of personal taste, really, unless you really don't know which direction to go.

That is an Alienware, Aurora m7700.
http://www.alienware.com/Product_Pag...l_default.aspx

Alienware laptops start out at $900 and top out at $2439

That paticular one is the Alienware, Aurora, m7700. It's built as a gaming PC so it's graphic editing for both video and still images are astounding. It's cost is $2,169 or about $66/month. of course they have 6 Months Same As Cash.

The cheapest one that I would get is the Area-51, m5500, It's only $999 or about $30/month. Again 6 Months Same As Cash.

They are the ones I was talking about earlier that you can take any software that you might already have and put it on the system and they are like, "No problem, we'll still warranty it. If there is a conflict with it then call us, we'll fix it over the phone for you no cost." With a 3 year warranty (that says something right there too.) Who else gives a 3 year warranty on thier systems?

They have been regarded as the best of the best all around among Geeks for about the last decade. Only in the last year that they have become affordable in price. Use to you couldn't get one for less than $7K for thier cheap end desk top.

FL,
Macs definatly have thier place, but they are slipping majorly especially in the last year or so. 3 years ago you would not have found a PC in a newspaper office or any other print shop. 5 Years ago I would have laughed at the thought of using a PC for pre press graphic design. It was all done on Macs. macs were considered the industry standard nation wide and maybe even world wide.
