Quote: Not really faster they are perty close not real sure on the new Raptor since its EFI and alittle more cc but when the 450 entered the market it was geared more to the out of box racer, better suspension, lower center of gravity, wider where as the raptor is a little more geared to the all pourpose machine, some track but not real conpetitive with all the new machines unless big money spent to mod out but still a great macine on the track but also comfy on the trail or in the woods. Both very good machines though, also I think that the 450 is a little more cramped for a taller rider, im 5 10 at 200 and feel good on the Raptor but a little squeezed in the 450.

All what each person wants out of it.
My friend has both a 660 Raptor and YFZ 450. He says it's the best of both worlds.I can snap a picture of them tomorrow if anyone is interested in seeing them.

That looks like a badass machine 04 red lariat, I can see bucky driving that with his big elephant gun mounted on the hood.
A beer in each hand, and shouting "Yee Haw!" (I really can picture it, haha)

Hiya Zap, I'm good buddy, nice to see you too, Merry Christmas to you and everyone else here.

400 feet of driveway Canuck? That's awesome man, you guys must be lovin' it, I'm in 7th heaven having 260. (nice and far back from the road)

Thanks for all the replies, want expecting to get this many, and don't worry about the hijack thing fellas, I'm enjoying the read

Everyone stay safe during the holidays.

Quote: I'm not a big Suzuki/Kawasaki fan, even though they did steal one of our best riders from Honda for the 2005 season. Hopefully Mr. Ricky will come to his senses next season!

I was die hard honda for years, but I needed more performance that what they had to offer in a big bore.

Hey Habibi!! I'm late, as usual!!

Sounds like you're enjoying life in the sticks, I know I am!! I've never measured my driveway except to drive down it with the truck and watch the ODO. It's right around a tenth of a mile long so that's close to 528 feet. And I cleared it with a 24" snowblower a few weeks ago!! I've tried to talk the hubby into a plow blade for the ATV (2002 Grizzly) He doesn't want to do it. Were looking at 4-wd tractors right now. Good luck with your search and hope to see you around here again soon!!

I think I saw a snow-blower attachment for quads. Don't remember where, or when, but that's only cuz I'm old now. I used my quad to plow out my back yard and driveway for a number of years. Then my Dad bought me this really cool snow-blower. It throws snow right over into the next door neighbour's yard. But the bad thing is that he bought it for Christmas 2004. I used it twice that year, and only once this year. And I live in the Yukon!!!. Wazzupwidat???
