We bought it from old people, so it needed some updating.
The entire house was covered in wallpaper, so after removing all that (pain in the nuts), we painted everything, ripped out all the flooring (carpet) and laid about 1,200 sf of white oak hw, and 300 sf of tile.
Installed a pair of french doors, as well as 200 feet of chain link fence to give the pooches a place to run.
All of our furniture was in the garage up until a week ago, so we're finally starting to get things set up, won't be long now!
Yesterday we had sat tv installed (hooray), and today Culligan showed up and installed a softener, UV light, and RO unit.
The well water is good, but I didn't want to take any chances.
The only thing that sucks is not having high speed, this "dial-up" business sure leaves a lot to be desired, but I am getting used to it.
We are still in the city limits, but 4 miles north of the main drag - a perfect distance. Far enough away for privacy, and only 5 minutes when we have to run into town.
