Mine does that when the Norton INternet Security blocks a pop up. Maybe it is you security settings.

If it's a Window's PC, try going to the "Start" icon and click it on(the one you use to shut it down) and then click on "Help". A mini-pg will come up and read down it to "Fix a Problem/Use System Restore". Click on USR and another pg appears. The first choice will be chosen automatically. Click on "Next" and a Calendar will appear. Click on one of the darkened/highlighted dates prior to today's date. That previous date will be chosen and highlighted on the rt. side of the panel. Click on Next and follow the instructions. It will take a few minutes to finish the Restore and you will have to reboot but that task can fix many 'unusual' problems.

I had to do that very thing today as a website from Robin Hood Software in England has taken over my Internet Explorer. I could do nothing to delete it. Everytime I loaded IE, that site would come up and try to force me to buy their worthless(I did a google and read about others having the same trouble from those m-f'ing spammers.) I had gotten my credit card out and had almost bought it until I rememered "Use System Restore"

Please let us know if that fixes it.

Dan

SYS restore is deperate attempt right before formating the hard drive for me.
Try to fix the problem because who knows how many files have been added or updates you have since the restore point. (restore point: is the point in time that you click on and the system restores to as it was that paticular day.) 1/2 the time adware and spy ware will just hide while this process is being done then come back a few days later.

But since his is just slow, then regular maintenece like deleting internet cookies and internet temp files will probably fix it.
