DaMM, I guess the Hottie thread was 2 Hot.
We've had snow in England but it's pretty mild again.
It gets colder in January though. If you were a girl and went outside in a really thin T-shirt, why you would have ni......snip......edit.

2: Take the I-55 N exit- EXIT 290A- on the LEFT toward I-70 EAST / ILLINOIS. <0.1 miles
3: Merge onto I-55 N via EXIT 290B toward I-70 EAST / ILLINOIS. Map 1.4 miles
4: Merge onto I-64 E toward ILLINOIS (Portions toll). 565.0 miles

Guess where I found myslef?
Not just my self but my dad in a Uhaul (not the best get away from danger vehicle and my mom with my sister inlaw and 3 month old nephew following in a rental car. The women did not know enough to even lock thier doors.
How crappy do I feel at this time. I just led my entire family into potential serious danger! I'm desperatly looking for an exit that I can quickly and safely 180 and get to I-64! A cop had a car pulled over and was standing on a hill side, aways off the road. (note: I lost a friend a few years ago who was working an accident and got hit. So ever since then when I see a cop on the side of the road I slow way down and move as far over as I can.) Well I was watching him and watching to make sure that no one tried to make a get away on foot to run out in front of me. I did not see a tire in the middle of the highway, I did not even see it ever, just felt it and did not know what I hit tell my dad told me what it was! For all I knew it was a body! I caught it both passengers side with my brothers truck! The truck started vibrating so I was forced to take the next exit and investigate.
I pulled over and took my coat off as fast as I could so my shoulder holster was in plain site for all to see. (glad I was still in Mo) then I RAN (not walked) to the front of the truck and dove underneath to investigate. Could not find anything on visual inspection so ran back and took off as fast as we could! Got back on the highway only east bound this time and was so glad to be in Ill. for the first time in my life. (I hate that state in so many ways) ended up missing 1-64 again and had to go thru that part of E STL where (cant rember the name of the strip club but it has the big spot lights. KNow which one I'm talking about Bill?) Imagine doing that and not only having to watch your car, but a Uhaul behind you, and the car behind it! I was a nervous wreck by the time we finally found I-64 and we only had to drive thru about 2 miles of the slums!

Wow Matt, sounds like a nerve wracking trip! Glad you all made it unharmed.
Weather here is boring, boring, boring. It's been in the teens and 20's for weeks. The snow is frozen to the trees so everything is white, the ground, the trees and the sky because we've had low clouds almost every day. Boring!

Believe it or not, I got into my truck this morning and cranked her up...Looked up at the digital thermometer and it was flashing between 32 degrees and ICE!!! This is in Lake Havasu City, where it's been known to reach 125 degrees during the summertime...
