Spherical Trigonometry? Help!!!
Hey Bill... Check this out. I've been working on putting together that other multi/puzzle cache. It's not finished though.
See what you can do with it.

The given coordinates are not for any part of this 3-stage multi/puzzle cache. It is simply a random point in town.
Before you even leave your computer the fun begins… To find Stage 1, you must solve a double cipher… So I ask, how are you with your BINARY CODE?

Stage 1
First you will need to find the years that this metal “box” was in service. Next, find the pertinent street number for where this item now resides.
Put yer math hats on…
Add all three of these numbers, and then split the answer down the middle (NOT in half). Add the two “pieces” to each other and you’ll have the key to decipher these coordinates for Stage 2:
67* 51.693 N
447* 53.002 W
Stage 2
Simply find the full name of Lake Havasu City’s pioneer as it is printed on the plaque (Hint: Tim Allen would have LOVED this man!!!) ***LOCALS, NO CHEATING***
This name is the key to the 3rd and final stage.
Stage 3 (Final)
If you paid attention in math class and “used your head for something besides a hat rack…” as my Daddy used to say, you should be at the cache. The container is
See what you can do with it.

Well....my understanding is that after ciphering the binary....the "out of place" letters need to be "unscrambled".....but I have not had the time to find out if my assumptions are correct.....

It should have come out looking like this:

Lats and Longs for:

Stage 2 I'm still trying to find which pioneer they're refering to but...

Binary to text =
thgiEeerhTthgiEtnioPthgiEytnewTseergeDruoFytrihT
dnA
eerhTeniNeniNtinoPytnewTseergeDneetruoFderdnuHenO
reversed =
Thirty Four Degrees Twenty Eight Point Eight Three Eight (34* 28.838)
And
One Hundred Fourteen Degrees Twenty Point Nine Nine Three (114*20.993)
1960
1970
+320
------
4250 split in half and add 42+50=92
I'm working on the rest....

You good or do you need a hint?
I guess this could be considered "Beta testing" for my puzzles...
Let me know if you need a hint, maybe you can help me write that part better so people can understand it without giving things away...

Tical,
This is a puzzle cache I'm developing to be placed sometime soon, not somebody elses... RobertPMcCullochSr will be the final key for the final set of coords when I find a worthy location in or near town.
After that post I decided it would be a good idea to actually go back and do some work.
Now the phones are down and I can't do work
I'm not sure what 92 has to do with 67* 51.693 N, 447* 53.002.
This is actually the first of these problems I've done and don't even really know what I'm doing. Just thought I'd take a look since I have nothing else to do.

Hmmm... Phones are down? We haven't been able to successfully dial phone numbers in Phoenix, AZ all day from our landlines, but via cell phone, we can.
9 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 1
Is there a better way to phrase what I already written for this part?

To be honest.....I have not had time to look at it in depth.....I have been going over resumes all day and trying to finish my truck dock design specs.....
