Darn Vandals!! Does anyone know how to take a car door apart?

Hey Fellas,

So I'm taking my girlfriend back to her apartment and we pass her car on our way to the apartment door and we see it.

Some a** kicked the passenger's side mirror right off and it snapped the plastic threads that go around the bolts that hold the mirror in.

The car is a 1999 Pontiac Grand AM four door. Does anyone know how to take the passenger's side door apart? I could really use the help!

I'm going to order a new mirror off ebay for $39.99, since the plastic threads are broken in half and it wouldn't hold the mirror on if I tried to put it back together.

Any help would be greatly appreciated in this freakin' scenario. Whoever did this, I really wouldn't mind running down in the F150. I know a good catholic is supposed to forgive and feel sorry for them, but right now I don't feel like a good catholic. (I think the blood would wash off my billet grill ok)

Thanks for the help,

Duke

Normally there are a few bolts and plastic clips. the armrest normally has bolts and needs removed for the door cover to be removed.

You're a life saver. I was looking but couldn't ever find this info online. I'll give this a try next weekend when I get the new one from ebay.

Thanks again,

Duke
