It will end up like the Charger. It started out with a few Qs from the 69-70, now its a 4 door.
The Challenger will probably end up the same way, or turn into some cross-over. I will be going to the Detriot Auto show, so I will see then if its there.

Sled...

I like the look of this Challenger Concept better than the orange one.

I saw the "2009" in the title, and in the back of my mind, I'm thinking "Man, why so far into the future?"

And then reality set in. We're almost to 06 already.

Where the heck is time going????

I remember just yesterday hearing that stupid song by some assclown named Prince about partying like it's 1999, and thinking "Hell, that's like 15 years from now."

As far as the Dodge goes, I think that it looks ok, but the problem is that it's still a DC product. While they are getting better (I guess), I still can't see myself ever really truly interested in one. The Hemi is still having some major issues with cold weather operation last I heard, so maybe 09 is enough time to get it solved.

Still, for retro excitement, I don't think it touches the Mustang.

what is up with this retro styling kick? For as advanced as the automobile is, it's sad a new design can not emerge to stand on it's own merrit.
Chrysler is going thier own way, but thiers only so manny way's you can reinvent the box.
as we get older, I wounder if detriot is going to reinvent nostelga and sell it to us as new and improved.
Retro is reborn.

It's because all our true geniuses and innovators are dead... All the "smart guys" that are left can do, is reheat someone else's idea..

Space Shuttle: Nuff said... (That thing was designed in the 60's & 70's, been flying since 1980 (25 years) and we haven't moved ahead in 25 YEARS? WTF?)

SR-71: Still unmatched by any (known) jet in the sky. Reign: 40+ years.

F-15: Untouchable by anything (When it comes to accelleration & fighting)... We just say they SU-27 & 37 and the Eurofighter are a match so we can have the new F-15... (The F-22)

F-22: Why does it look so much like an F-14, F-15, SU-27, 37, MiG-25, Mig-28, 29, 31? Can't we improve without reheating?

*- I thought Russia copied the design of their planes after they saw our F-15 & 14... According to the Military Channel (Formerly Discovery Wings), it seems we developed the F-14 & F-15 after we saw the MiG-25 at the Paris air show in the 1960's... I was thoroughly disappointed to hear that...

Cars: Why can't America build a family car, or sporty coupe that can compete in performance, safety, style, reliability at an affordable price- that matches anything from: Honda, Nissan, Toyota or (Acura, Infiniti, Lexus) and not to mention, BMW, Audi & Mercedes.

Trucks: We have that on lock... But, that's due to, in my opinion, owner loyalty, family loyalty, bull-headedness.
