my latest investment (1967 mustang)

this is my latest investment and addition to my ford family.
its a 1967 mustang, 289 v8 auto
it was ordered with the delux interior package with the aluminum trim,
other than that it is a basic mustang.
my first mods will be power front disc brake conversion.
after that, who knows. i do want to keep it more of a crusing car and
not a race car.
any ideas?
for those of you with mustangs, where is the best place to order parts, and is
there a forum, like f150online, for early mustangs

Wow, nice clean ride. I had a '68 that was very close to yours, until a snow plow operator fell asleep, drove across my lawn and totaled the stang. The kicker is, it was parked in my garage. Insurance got me a new garage, but the book value on the 'stang was nothing (It wasn't insured as a classic). If you ever want to sell her, let me know!

Very nice!! I had a '67 several years ago, fun, fun car!! Wish I could have kept it

I can't remember the name of the catalog we used to order all the goodies out of, if I think of it I'll let you know. You can do a google search and come up with all sorts of online shops for classic 'Stangs.

Congrats and good luck!!

Coral and stangnet. Pretty much any one and everyone has parts for mustangs.

My neighbor has a '66 coupe with a limited edition "Sprint" package. It's basically a stock 'stang with a chrome air cleaner, blue pinstripe on the sides, center console, and wire spoke hub caps. I still wouldn't mind getting it from her. Believe it or not, she's in her 70's, the original owner, and loves to talk 'stangs. She's the stereotypical little old lady who only drives her car on Sunday's to church.
As for forums like this one, there are several, but I belong to www.allfordmustangs.com
And my 'stang:

Nice car.
For parts and stuff there is a local (to me) store i go to.
here is the site. http://www.cjponyparts.com/
They have alot of parts for the older stangs and its a fair price. they do advertise in most ford mags.
