posting phtos

Can someone tell me how to post photos?

I checked the FAQ's and it says that there is a browse button on the reply screen, but I don't see one.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Finally, go to the thread you want to post your image in & use the BBCODE tags [img ][ /img] (remove the spaces) & insert the address that you copied.

that shoud work
So you are saying the only way to post photos is to have them in your album? you cannot just post a photo in the thread?

Thanks again...

you have to get the URL of a certain image, though, if you only want the image to appear in a thread, not the link on the page it is on. So the link would have to end in '.jpg' or '.gif' etc..

Are you using Guided Mode or Enhanced Mode?

Does it matter?

Am i using the wrong link?

I keep it in Guided Mode. Whenever you find an image you want to post in a thread, isolate the image by opening it in its own window. Then, COPY the URL of the image (ending in .jpg, etc) and then PASTE that URL inside [img] [/img]. Or click on the little mountain photo at the top when replying to a thread, and just paste the URL inside there.

Alternate method if you already have the pic posted somehwere else that allows hot linking, is to right click on the picture, click on properties, and copy the url address of the pic from there, paste it here with the [img] tags.

Don't feel bad, I had to ask when I first started here too.
And I'm a former assistant admin for a local ISP!

Maybe that's why I'm former????
Because I never have any idea what I'm doing.
