Battery Problems

Question Battery Problems

I have a f-150 the and the battery want stay charged.I got the alternater tested and its good and i just had a new battery put in. I've check all of the fuses and they are good. If there is anything else that you know might be the problem i would appreciate if you would tell me

Check all of your grounds, make sure the mating surfaces are all clean.

Are you sure the battery is good?
If you have replaced it and it still isn't charging, then check your grounds especially the block ground strap.

what aftermarket accessory's do you have. sounds like something is drawing from the battery even when the key is off.

also post some info about the truck, year ect.


a post in the electrical forum would be better because down here in the GD people don't really get too technical. we just b.s alot.
