gas can cleaning info

I have a few gas cans that were lying around that had different fuels in them, mostly 2 stroke mix. I would like to use them all for regular gas. How would you or what would would you use to clean a gas can?

Thanks for the info

Dump it out, make sure there are no chunks in it and fill it up with gas. BTW, a little bit of 2 stroke oil residue won't hurt any gasoline engine. Any time I have old 2 cycle fuel that I feel is too old to use in my saws, I'll dump it in my lawnmower or even my truck. A half ounce of two cycle oil mixed in with 10-20 gallons of gas is virtually indetectable.
