Just posting to say hello again, it's been a rough week without any computer access. Been roughing it at my Dad's cabin up in Alabama. Before anybody feels too sorry for me, it's an 1800 sq. foot house with an 8' wide wrap-around porch on three sides. Fireplaces upstairs and downstairs, new tile floors throughout, new leather furniture, new 50" flatscreen tv with Dish, new bedroom furniture with beds that are more comfortable than mine at home, and more food than you could want. The house overlooks Lake Eufala (part of the Chathoochie River) and is about 9 miles out of town. It's been a complete blast and I hated to come home, but I gotta make a living so I can afford my own place in a similar setting one day.

Anyways, I will probably spend the rest of the night catching up on the activities around here. Good to be back.

Welcome back RJS...one question...if the "cabin" has all you mentioned, why doesn't it have internet?? Just curious!

 

RJS....you lucky sumbish. I bet that was real nice. Did ya do any fishing, hunting, anything? Details bro, details......inquiring minds want to know.

Rose- My old man is computer illiterate, so he doesn't have internet access. Heck, he doesn't even have a phone hooked up, we just use our cell phones (gotta walk out to the end of the porch to get decent reception and not get cut off).
Jamz- We did go out on the boat for a few hours, mostly just sightseeing. We fished for about 45 minutes and didn't get a nibble so I guess we need to learn the lake. We actually spent a lot of time working on the cabin and the yard. I trimmed a few trees and we burned all the brush, we hooked up a couple new faucets, got the washer and dryer hooked up, made some progress on painting the basement, etc. It sounds like a lot of work but I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with my dad and putzing around fixing up his new place. After all, it will be mine one day.

Hey Monkey- I got the video, but it ended before she got her bikini off.
