Thumbs up Gas powered RC monster trucks anybody have one?

I've got a Savage 21. I'ts three years old now and this week I just put in a 4.6 Big block engine This thing hauls butt now . Detuned it flips over with a rap of the throttle I can pull a 100 foot wheel stand with no problem

So I was wondering if anyone else has a truck or car on here? And what it is.

I have an E-Maxx, so electric not gas, but I run it with 7-cell packs from Balistic Batteries so it goes very fast. Gas would be nice but the benefits dont outweigh the extra work for me.

I have a few elec. r/cs. Mainly Team Losi Race buggies from when i used to race a year or 2 ago. Hey UC, you ever thought of putting a brushless motor in your E-maxx? Ive seen vids of emaxx's running 1 brushless motor only, and they have trouble keeping it on all 4's. Imagine 2 brushless? Sheesh.

I'm just not enough into the hobby for brushless motors. I just like to take my E-Max up to the mountains when I go four-wheeling. With the 7-cell packs, it wheelies everytime I hit the accelerator; flip right over on its back if I let it. I had to switch to a metal spur gear cause I was stripping the plastic ones every time I went out.

I had a T-Maxx for a few months but I never got to use it much. That sucker was a lot of fun but I have to many expensive hobbies and that one had to go.

!!!40mph? Is that realistic?
Definately. I can't speak for that truck in particular, but if I got brushless electric motors my truck would probably go 40mph

I got rid of my T-maxx, that had all the go fast parts. RPM everything, nothing aluminum to clow it down.

I switched to the 1/8th scale buggy by Sportwerks the Mayhem with the .26 motor. It is FAST, I garuntee it does 65 with the street tires I have on it. I had it tuned like nothing else. I was doing a run and poof, the motor let go. Threw the rod out of the crankcase, it was killer and sad at the same time. I have never had something so fast though. I put stiff springs on it and street tire the lowered it a bit and it just goes. I replaced the case now I need a rod and piston.

I started about 10 years ago racing the Tamyia Blackfoot at the local track and it ran good for the time.

I got into planes but spent A LOT more time rebuilding than flying, but they were a blast.

I have been seriously thinking of getting one of the new electric mini helicopters, they look like fun.

I bought a T-Maxx a few months ago. It does atleast 40 mph. I don't run it much but it's fun when I do. I am so rough with it, it costs me atleast $20 everytime I fire it up.

I love the rock crawlers myself. I've got 3 elec. touring cars and an Duratrax evader buggy. I never knew dirt could be so much fun.
My favorite "car" is my 1/8 scale Kyosho motorcycle. Shocks, front and rear with a scale chain drive. A bit tough to keep on two wheels at first, but a blast to drive once you get the hang of it.
I've got a weedwacker engine I'm just dying to drop into a scratchbuilt top fuel dragster. That sucker should be about 6 feet long I'm guessing.
