Those cards used to be worth hundreds of dollars, each.

Key word is used.

They are worthless now as they can't be activated.

:santa:

They did away with those about 2 years ago. They make good ice scrapers though.

The HU signal was dropped last year so they are useless. if you have a P4 or P5 card then hang on to them because a "fix" will be available soon.

Just don't get caught at it. Even O.J. got nailed for it. $25,000 for stealing the signal and another $33,000 attorney fees for DirecTV's costs. Thay have been going after people who make and use the pirated cards big time.

I am a DirecTV installation technician. You cannot pirate cards anymore.... by the time youve changed the channel once they card is set into a looping mode and has to be reprogrammed. For right now pirating DTV is impossible but I have heard people are getting Dish Network cards done now. I am not familiar with their system.

the P4 card should be available by the end of the year. It supposedly has been cracked now but not released yet. It will need to be a virgin card and a blocker needs installed to prevent your DTV card from being updated.

Be very careful. Most states have or will be passing laws regarding the electronic theft of services. Most have been set as a Felony. Best to just throw it all away and avoid temptation.

p4 and p5 cards will be phased out very soon anyway. the new p7 card (white one) is already out there in every receiver i am installing so by the time they release this "so called fix" for the p4 cards they wont be in use anymore.
