Cummins Kill

Well, another Dodge bit the dust last night. Rolled up to a stoplight in town last night, up comes a new 2500 double-cab Cummins next to me...At first I was hoping it was gunna be another hemi kill but then i saw that it was a cummins...Anyway, we both hit it when it turned green...I was quite surprised, he stay close, but i was pulling away, until he let up for traffic..(Seems like i always jump out quick on the diesels, then they spool up and make-up some ground)...I love the look on peoples faces when the F-1 fiddy JUMPS forward on WOT shifts, compliments of Mike Troyer. I'm addicted to it! I think he was a little surprised too..The new Powerstroke I ran with a few weeks ago seemed A LOT stronger, i was fairly even with the PSD yet slowllllly pulling on him...Guess the 6.0 is faster than the 5.9 huh??

Anyway, it made my short drive last night worth-while

Cool

Man I guess I underestimated those smoking diesels. I remember one blowing by me not letting me merger onto the freeway but thought that was because he had his speed built up but I guess they can roll.

I raced a superduty in about 99 when I had my eddie bauer explorer. I was not tring to start a race just get away from the smoke and when I got to his door he just looked over and laughed and took off.

I had a 92 Saturn SCII in High school and for a few years afterwards. One day I left a light with a Dodge 3500 CTD. Wasn't trying to race, but I wanted to be in front....never happened. My poor little twin cam, 5 speed, econo box with a nut loose between the seat and the steering wheel could only kinda hang as the truck slowly, pulled ahead. Alas we were doing 70mph in a 45mph zone so we both let off. DIesels be the shiznit.

Yea, obviously both diesels I have ran with were stock...I'm familiar that had they been tuned or chipped, i would have a little different story to tell :o
