1997 changes from 1996

is there somewhere I can find a list of changes to the f-150 from one model year to the next? for instances why my rims from a 97 do not fit the lug pattern of my 96, or is it cold enough for the alloy rim to shrink just enough not to fit properly? bolt patterns on seats and the like?

The entire chassis changed from '96 to '97. You name it, it's different. Probably the only thing that carried over was some basic electronics and switchgear.

97 was the complete redesign for the F150.

For instance 5lug on 5.5" to 5lug on 135mm. No go on switching rims.

Bout the only thing the same would be the 4R70w/E4OD tranny and the blue oval on the front.
