That was *****ING close...

On the way home from work today, the dude in front of me was driving a Ford Taurus wagon doing about 50MPH in a 40MPH zone. I ws following at about the same speed, 2 car lengths behind. This guys hits a deer going the afore mentioned 50 and the freaking thing cartwheeled over his car and sailed right over the hood of my truck, kinda in a diagonal path of motion. He hit in on his right front and it flew over his car and almost landed on my left front. I had to wipe blood off my hood and windshield. The as$clown driving the Taurus never even touched the brakes and kept right on moving. I stopped to allow my heart rate to return to normal and survey the carnage. In less than 60 seconds (no bull sh$t, less than 60 seconds), two guys in a truck stopped, field dressed the deer (which was still alive when they showed up, they broke it's neck to kill it), tossed it in the back of their truck & drove off. I think they were on the scene for like 4 minutes. I carry my camera EVERYWHERE I go & I didn't have time to take photos, this sh$t happened so fast. Not having any time was due to the fact that I was shaking in my boots (USAF issued flight boots) from watching a blood covered deer fly over the hood of my truck.

Jack Daniels & Montecristo were good to me today...

I would have not touched the brakes either then you would have run right up his azz no swerving, no brakes take em head on. I tried to avoid a deer this year by braking and a bit of swerving and it cost 3,000 bucks (no pun) because i went right off the road and into a tree deer+tree=3,000 bucks...

He never even stopped at all, never slowed down, didn't even touch his brakes. He kept right on driving like nothing ever happened. There were pieces of headlight on the ground so I know he broke something. I know the car was only worth like $37.93... but still, you'd think he would at least want to stop & check to see that his now blood covered ride was OK.

KC-10 FE, you were caught in the middle of a New Jersey Wholesale Meat operation.
The guy in the Taurus couldn't stop for two reasons:

1- There was another deer up the road.
2- If the truck catchs him, it derails the entire process.

That is so funny. In less than 60 seconds two guys stopped and field dressed a deer hit by a POS Ford Taurus that didn't even slow down.

Oh man, I laughed so hard, that seriously sounds like a Jeff Foxworthy joke!!!!!

You know you're a redneck....

What's even scarier is when a deer flies over you and your on a motorcycle. Then you can see the hooves kicking when it flies past your face

Strange thing was no sooner that it hit the ground two guys jumped out of a beat up truck and scooped it up. Of course this was in the middle of the Arkansas Ozarks so ALL redneck jokes apply.
