I tried it for about 2 days but went back to IE. I found it distracting the way the page content would jump around while the page finished opening. In my experience IE is faster and the images are clearer.
But on the other hand I am probably one of the small minority that can maintain a virus-free and spyware-free browser, so I am not plagued by many of the issues confronting most IE users.

I like Firefox, too, and use it almost all the time. In my experience, it is way faster than IE, and I really like having multiple tabs for different websites.
Some sites (particularly those for online shopping it seems) do better with IE, so I keep it around. Even when used with a firewall, spyware-catcher and antivirus, IE has more security holes in it than they can patch, so I avoid it for regular surfing.
