Why are you beating up on small, defenseless animals?

got one that passes through the back yard every night. My dog goes crazy as it just sits on the fence and lookls at her. I have to go out and knock it off the fence, then it is gone till the next night.

I was coming home one night (To my mom's house) and as I backed in, I saw what looked like a big "Saudi-Arabia" sized white rat. He was all in hte area where my Mom's cats are. I figured he was dead meat- but, he was headed my way. With no gun, I stayed in the car.

I wondered how a rat could go into the cats den and get out alive. As I looked around, ALL the cats (At least 7-8 of them) were on teh roof of my Moms car, looking down at him...

That's when I knew that was no Rat. For some reason he had his teeth bared back- and after seeign what looked like 300 teeth, I understood why those cats were like- Sheeeeeeeiiiiiiiitttt- I ain't f**kin' with him....

I recently saw a HUGE posum in my mother in laws yard. That's the biggest SOB of a possum I've ever seen. I've seen bigger racoons, but that possum was every bit as big.

You know the term "Playing Possum"?

Well, if you scare one good enough, they'll do that... then you can pick it up by its tail and...

KICK THAT BEEOTCH!!!

I just tear them in half with my Winchester 1300 model Ranger .12 gauge pump-action shotgun. Ok not really, But I only did that once when I was camping out at night in the woods and heard something making noises in the brush. That sucker was dead before he knew what hit him. You don't mess with old Peace when he's all alone out in the woods at night.

Glad you caught the Possum, are they going to let you know if it has rabies? Best of luck there and I hope kitty is all better soon!

Bluejay--I'd knock it off the fence once, then i'd go wash the blood off the bat so there's no evidence.

Naw, we never hurt animals if we can avoid it. When the dog grabs the possum and it plays dead, I scoop it up with a shovel and carry it into the woods, it comes out of it's coma and jumps off the shovel and scoots. We have all kinds of wildlife, and we don't kill any thing unless it is destructive, such as rats.
