Target is the DEVIL!

How on earth is it possible for someone who HATES shopping as much as I do, to go to Target with ONE $15 item in mind, and come out with 3 bags, $100 later??????

True but it applies to us guys also. I went to Sears the other day to buy a pair of vice grips.....ended up hauling home a new $900.00 Craftsmen 15 drawer tool chest! The tool dept at Sears is an evil evil place.

I can't go to Lowes of Home Depot without dropping $100. Just did it yesterday, went to get a new trap for the kitchen sink and $148 later I walked out. The joys of homeownership. I'[ve done itwith Target too, went to get platic storage bins and ended up with over $100 in shelving as well.

I don't agree with the "online" mentality that you have.....I just dropped $100 in less than a minute yesterday on my PIE AUX adapter.....I think that I am more dangerous online then I am in a store.....but I have to agree with you comment on people.....I fooking hate people....

When my daughter was living at home on my dime, she didn't want anything from 'TARGET'.

Now that she has graduated college and living on her own nickel, she loves to shop at "Tarr-shaa".

I think what makes the people (and interaction) here tolerable, and even enjoyable, is the fact that we can turn it off whenever we like. It isn't like being stuck in a huge store with a cart full of stuff, in a long checkout line with some fat stinky behind you yakking on her cell phone while 2-3 rugrats climbing all under your feet. In the meantime the retard running the register is having a difficult time dealing with the non-English speaking welfare bum trying to pay for sirloin steaks and beer using food stamps.

Yeah, I hate people too.

I avoid stores like the plague...

You may catch me in Best Buy or Circuit City on the regular, but as much as I love Wal-Mart prices, I hate going because you know; unless you go at 3:00 AM, there's gonna be wall-to-wall emmer-effers.

Not only that, but- there's been times I'll go in to buy an $8.00 bag of dog food and come out of Wally World, and have spent $100.00.

That reminds me of something I did at Home Depot. I was finishing a project and had overestimated by one 12 foot 2x4. I could have just stored it for later use but, since I had to go back anyway I decided to return it. So, I'm standing in the Returns Line, always the slowest of all lines, holding a 12 foot 2x4 pointed at the ceiling. The guy behind me has a cart full of various plumbing parts. He is obviously irritated at the pace, making the various sighs and noises asscociated with dissatisfaction.

I can't resist, with a straight face I turn to him and say,
"Had to bring this back, found out I needed two six footers."
