In all seriousness to the original question, I have heard that there is a program out there (google it) called DVDShrink. It is supposed to work great and is supposedly free. But it is definatly NOT from first hand knowledge

DVD Shrink, and it will use Nero to burn if you have it installed. There are some DVD's it will not "back up" check the list on the website for work-arounds. Often, if DVD Shrink doesn't work, you can use DVD Decrypter (now defunct, but you can find it if you look a little, try Limewire) to remove any encryption and then shrink it with DVD Shrink.
