When you accidently take the wrong exit do you?????
I would really think there would be some sensible minded people in here. I have missed my exit many times in the 30+ yrs of driving, I go to the next exit and follow up on my mistake, thats all, no rocket science here, just common sense
What about if you take an exit you don't want to take and you can't go straight across the intersecting road. Its a road where you can only go left or right from that ramp because the curbs are in the way. There is a ramp across the road that gets back onto the interstate.
Do you:
a. turn left or right and then make a U turn and then get onto the ramp going back onto the interstate in the direction you were heading?
b. Back up the length of the off ramp and then cut in front of people doing way faster than you are?
or c. Turn toward oncoming traffic, go around the curb and then go toward oncoming traffic again and then get up onto the entrance ramp to the interstate?
I have seen many people do b and c. The sensible answer would be a., but people are usually in too big of a hurry and they don't want to take the few extra seconds to do it the correct way

D: Turn left or right till there is a turn with a trafic light in the median.
or
D²: The median is replaced with a turn lane, then pull into a parking lot, turn around and head back to exit back on to the interstate that you were on.
