Well, my buddy never intentionally made me feel bad about driving a Ford...
But, when he got this (And I went with him) it kinda made me feel like I was driving a real POS...
Three P's of S.
He never said anything- but, if you know anything about cars & trucks, then it's a given...
My only advantag over that Bimmer is. 1.) I'm taller, 2.) I can carry more people (Yeah, so can a bus), 3.) I can tow a trailer, 4.) It cost half-as much as his Bimmer...
After that- it's all A-La-Crap, compared to a 7-Series Bimmer...
He knows it, and I know it...
But, compared to Civics, Jetta, Accords, etc.. Really; there is no comparison...

But back on track. I love my truck and I am never ashamed of it. I drive it whenever I have the chance. Ill usually tell my friends "Ill follow you guys" just cause I want to ride in style. Unless my friend is driving his Lexus.

I've yet to have someone criticize me who's driving something nicer. It's criticism rooted in jealousy.
Make his nightmare come true, tell him "it's nicer than that piece of sh*t you're forced to drive."
I'll admit to laughing every time I see the 'jesus is my copilot' bumper sticker. I'm still waiting to see one on a car who's value isn't altered significantly by how much gas is in the tank.

My self-confidence isn't dependent upon my vehicle or what other people think about me or my cars. I drove my mother's ford station wagon to school every day with my country music playing. Didn't fit in....didn't care.
I am who I am...if they don't like it there are about 6 billion other people who agree with them. Move on....life is bigger issues to deal with....

The green 68 4 door Ford Fairlane
90 S10 4cyl
87 Jeep cheerokee that smoke would roll out from underneath it at stop lights and drive throus. (not form the exhaust... from UNDERNEATH IT!) Because the oil leaking from the rear main seal, was landing right on the exhaust. The drivers window wouldn't roll down so I had to open the door at the drive throu windows.
Yet I picked up chicks in all of them and they were always glad to be with me. I guess I'm just a helluva guy.
In fact, One late fall night. 2 girls got out of thier Corvette that her daddy bought her, and 3 out of a Camaro. To ride with me in the Jeep while cruising around town. Smoke, no heater and all. I rarely ride with anyone. I like to drive, and I hate to follow either. I must be in the front!
People made fun of it. Did I care?.. NO! LOL
There wasnt very many times it wasn't loaded with putang. It hauled a$$ but not in the speed since of the phrase.
If they made to much fun of it I'd load up the girls that hung with us and take them 4wheelin'. Leave them with thier nice cars and trucks and thier ***** in thier hands. They would take thier nice trucks in the mud sometimes but they wouldn't go 4wheelin. They where wooried they might get a scratch or tear something up. So the girls liked riding with me and getting extreme. Ahh the squealls and screams were great!
