Newbie Introduction

Hello All,

I'm a newbie on the forum.

I have always loved Ford trucks but they have been a little out of my price range. In May of '05 I traded my '03 Dodge on a '02 F150 Supercrew, 4x4, Fx4 and I haven’t looked back. I don't have any radical modifications planned (yet). I'm currently working on a '68 Mustang Coupe for my oldest daughter (14).

Just wanted to say hello.

The Mustang is nothing fancy. My oldest has always loved classic cars, particularly the Mustangs. So a couple years I said "when you are about 14 we'll get one and that will give us 2 years to work on it". I figured this would go away and she would get a more modern car. So ……. in Nov of 04 I bought the car from a guy in Long Beach, CA. It’s a ’68 Mustang Coupe, I6 (200ci), AT, PS. The only big plans are to change the rear to an 8”, add power brakes w/front disc, paint and interior of course. The current plan is for the car to be white with red stripes that we designed. The interior will be red and white, not sure about the pattern yet. There are no plans for any major modifications. We are just building a ‘cool’ car for teen to drive to school. Some of the beginning photos may be seen here:

I’ll have more pictures up soon.

Welcome Weeg....

Stang looks like a serious project but they can be the most rewarding.

Welcome Weeg!

Nice looking stang. Can't wait to see the updated pics as you go along.

And nice choice of trucks. I have the '04 version of the same truck.

Sorry.
That's my lil "welcome aboard thingy". I do it all the time.

And the P-E-R-F-E-C-T answer on the other thread ... was just out of boredom.
