97 order guide

Ha, goin through my giant box of crap I found the origional order guide for the 97.

Would it be illegal for me to scan or take pics of it and post? Or just screw it and just send the pics to those who want it?

I would be interested in seeing pictures of this so that I could put them in a scrap book that I have created for my new truck. I would think that you could post them, however, I wish that I could have a couple pictures of this for myself and I have no way of printing them out. By the way, is there a way that I could get a copy of this book for myself, (in other words, where could I get one of these?)

If you decide against posting it on here could you at least send me a scan of it by email. I also would like to see it.

Yes, it could be considered copyright infringment, not likely that the one holding the copyright would pursue to press charges. But to cover Steve I wouldn't post them on here, just in case.

1997 F-Series order guide with respect to fords copyright stuff...

Page 2-3

F-150 XLT 4x2 in Silver Forst Clearcoat Metallic with some optional equipment

F-Series pickups have been the best-selling trucks in America for 19 straight years. The tradition of leadership and innovation began when Henry Ford introduced his first pickup in 1917. Ford's V8 engine was introduced in 1932, over two decades before its closest competitor. Innovations like four wheel drive, Twin I Beam suspension and anti lock brakes have forever changed the way we look at trucks. And how we use them. The 1997 Fseries continues this proud tradition with a standard three door SuperCab. Standard driver and passenger air bags. And an exclusive line up of overhead cam V8 engines.

Page 3-4

F-250 SuperCab 4x2 in Bright Red Clearcoat over Silver Forst Metallic.

The rugged new F-250 takes trucking to a higher level, with a maximum payload rating of 3,340 lbs (4x2 with available payload package) and offers a Heavy Duty Service Package for applications like snow plowing. There's greater trailer towing capability for 1997 as well - up to 8700lbs. for a Regular Cab 4x2 with the 5.4L Triton V8.

You may have experienced the inconvenience of trying to get out of the back seat of a pickup. Not any longer. Ford, and only Ford, now offers the convenience of a standard Third Door of on the SuperCab

You can open the Third Door (when the front door is open) from the rear seat with the handle on the door trim panel - an exclusive SuperCab feature.

The roof mounted right shoulder belt design provides a convenient rear passenger assist handle.

The front and rear doors have a side intrusion beam. There's also an additional vertical beam in the third door that locks to the top and bottom of the cab.

I think it looks good and I saw a lot of my truck in that brochure. I still would like to know where to get one of these.
