It became annoying because once you gave an inch, people started expecting a mile. Prior to everyone asking for sigs, it used to be people asking for wheels PSed on the truck. Then you'd get requests for 2,3,or 4 different kinds of wheels . . . then it became more, then after you'd do it (for free) you'd have the person getting all pissy . . . and it grew and grew . . .

Then it became sigs . . . and if you've failed to notice, the requests for sigs have become more work intensive, time consuming, and the requesters picky.

You've done a great job doing sigs, and I commend you. Also, your work has improved greatly. And, if you enjoy doing it, more power to ya. But how much of your time and effort have you spent doing so? What have you gotten from it . . . is the return worth the investment? If so, keep it up.

For me, it became an annoyance back in the "Please make my truck something it isn't . . . " days.

Any PS I've done since then is usually quick, sloppy, and for fun, usually to make some other point and for my own amusement. Call me selfish. Other than that . . .

I can see your point.....and, it makes 100% perfect sense.

I have always been one of them thar feller's that would give a man my last 5 bucks, and not think twice about it. If I can help someone out, no matter how minor, I will. I dont even need a thank you, if I can put a smile on someone's face, I'm happy with that....but at the same time.....I'm an A-Hole.


Now that I think about it, I need to go to your "Ask Kobi" thread, and find out what's wrong with me.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I know that I do PS work as a hobbie...if there is some "feature" that I want to play around with and someone makes a request for a sig...then I will use that request as an excuse to go play with that feature....but you are 100% correct on how some people can get demanding....but I am also like Jamz...probably why I am always broke....
