Talking Never drive when you are tired.

This morning my dad was coming home from work and got in an accident. He was working from 5:00 PM yesterday to 7:30 AM this morning. After work he left Nashville and came straight home from work. When he was about 10 miles from our house he fell asleep at the wheel and went into a guard rail around 8:37 AM.

As a result, he has about 10 staples on his head and his Corvette is pretty bad on the driver side.

So, please don't drive when you're tired. I don't want anyone to get hurt.

I fell asleep one time a few years back and took out a mailbox. Went to lowes the next day, bought a mailbox and replaced it.

Cool thing was, it didnt put a scratch on my 82 F150

I fell asleep on my motorcycle once about 15 years ago. I woke up just in time to see that I was in the oncoming traffic lane headed straight for the grill of a big white caddy. That image will be in my mind forever. Needless to say I was wide awake for the rest of my commute to work that day. When I got to work I told my boss that driving 80 miles one way to work was just too much and that I was going to have to quit. I told him my story and he was very understanding.

Driving tired....no problem there.

Now Driving while sleeping....that can be a little tricky...definitly advise against that one.
