Florida SUX!

Okay first of all, I didn't know when you entered Disneyworld that you actually entered another world and that you were "trapped". You can't walk anywhere and there are no stores anywhere. WTF?

And secondly, HOLY HUMIDITY! So yea, maybe mid-September isn't the best time to go, but how the he!! do you guys breathe down there? I've been to MO in the middle of summer but I don't remember it being that bad.

We arrived around 10pm and yea, it was hot and sticky but semi-bearable. The next morning we get up and get ready to head out the door for breakfast. Open the door and BAM, it was like a sauna. We get 1/2 way down the hall and I have to turn around and go back to the room to use my inhaler (that never helped). So I don't think people with asthma are meant to live in Florida.

There are two things I found very strange:

1 - It's hotter in the morning than it is in the afternoon. Here in California it doesn't start getting hot until around 11am and then starts cooling off again around 5pm.

2 - I never got sunburned and yet I was outside for 3 full days and it was sunny. I'm very fair skinned and out here if I'm in the sun for 10 minutes I'm pink.

So anyhoo, the Disneyworld experience was great but WAY too short That place is HUGE and needs at least a full 7 days to see everything. It sucked that my son got a cold the 2nd day and my hubby got the cold on our last day, and I got the cold the day after we got home.

I live in Florida and yes it can get hot. And it is a steamy hot.

One of my fiancees friends just drove down to Disney World form Maine over the weekend and they stayed with us on Friday night. They are down there now. Our friend has never been to Florida before and has always been up north. She told us on her way that she couldn't wait to be in an air conditioned place. She is so used to being up there, she had a sheatshirt type of jacket on and kept forgetting that she didn't need it down here.

Florida is very different, it can be the middle of winter and you can get sunburned since we rarely have days where the temperature doesn't at least get warm by the afternoon.

LMAO sajeffc. Don't get yourself all worked up. None of 'her' pictures are really her anyways. Every picture she's posted of herself was lifted off the 'net.

Jamswayne-
The first time she posted 'her' picture, she was a skinny redhead. Next she was a 'Helen Hunt' looking brunette, and then the next time she was a blonde. I'd say Smeezy's picture is as close to the truth as any of the others.
