definitely...who do we have in college that we will be able to pick up if we have a good year and get like 18th pick in the first round...I dont want a running QB like Mcnabb or Vick..running QB's just arent my fancy, they should throw the bombs, and only scramble if they need too...like Favre

Most of you did not see Don Meredith when he played. I can remember when he looked pathetic and the fans were screaming for his hide. Yelling at Landry for sticking with him. He turned out to be a winner. I have the feeling that Romo might be that same type of player given a chance to make mistakes and develop. He seems to have the confidence to be a winner, just needs experience to season the dumb mistakes.

DAMN IT ! ! !

I can see it now. You bone-heads are gonna get me watching football again.

I too at one point was a Cowboys fan, I dont know what happened, but after they won the SuperBowl last (when was that something, something B.C.), I lost interests in it.

All this football talk is gonna plant me on the sofa and switching between RAW and Monday Night Football.....geez, thnx guys.

It will be good for you. I used to be a full fleged fan. Would watch every game on TV. Then several years ago when the NFL had the stirke, I discovered I could live without it. After a couple of years I got reinterested in watching the Cowboys and keeping up with them. No longer an NFL junkie, never turned it on yesterday. I enjoy a good college game, too.

Even though i'm not from texas or even never been there, I'm a die hard COWBOY fan since 92', when I stared playing pop warner for the Kona Marlins, anyway even if jones has the best season which I think he is going to have, we need another QB for sure, since drew stared he hasen't done anything good yet for the team, we need carter back in there now. So my guess is the boy's are not going to get 10 plus wins w/drew in the game, get some one the carter back and yes I think they can get 10 plus wins. And if they do get 10 wins then drew deserves MVP. GO COWBOYS

I used to be a rabid sports fan- if I see three games a year now-a-days, I'm doing damn-good... That's three games counting the NBA, NFL, MLB, High School and NCAA sports...

I just don't have the time...

I have to keep up via highlight reels, and around the water-cooler...

Zap,
I agree Bledose is not our savior..He proved that last night...What a HORRIBLE way to end a game for the team. I totally put blame on the offense and bledsoe for last nights loss...if Bledsoe could read a defense and see the open receivers then we might have had a chance. Not dumping it off to some guy 2 yards up field with 3 defenders around him. Our defense got wore down after 3 1/2 quarters of stopping the skins. BlueJay, I am open to having romo play, but I dont know about him being Franchise QB

Geez how many times did he miss an open receiver by throwing it in the dirt in front of him...very disappointing loss

I have a problem with how many times he overlooks the open receiver, and throws elsewhere. The worst was the 4th down play to Glenn that came up short. Whitten was wide open 5 yards farther down the field, right in the same line of action.

Yeah- the Offense played like crap (In the little bit that I did see), but blowing a 13 point lead in a matter of 4-minutes is not the fault of the offense. If DB had thrown two interceptions and had them run back for TD's, then yes. BUt, to give up TWO big plays in the same manner?

I may have to change to 9 -7 low, 10-6 high on my prediction after last night's loss; but- I think they lost that game because they stopped playing hard after feeling they had it in the bag...

As the mornign news anchor said today~ "The Cowboys somehow managed to ****** defeat from the jaws of Victory!"

I do not disagree, but, the point is, it should not have been that close. Dallas should have had a minimum of 2 more field goals. They got too conservative.
