We used to have one, loved it, it was like a big go cart. That thing handled better than anything I've ever driven, but it was very slow.

Note: Since Ford owns the controlling share of Mazda its about time they came up with a large displacement rotary engine.

Have seen several of the 5.0 Miata's at the Turkey Rod Run.

Owners said they drive and handle pretty good and have "mucho" more power then the stock Miata.

I thought, there I go thinking again, that I saw a TV program with them and they were being made by a company in Las Vegas.

I'd like to drive one for a weekend or so.

I see a lot more men over the age of 50 driving them. They are very cheap, but capable, weekend warrior track cars, too. Not enough ***** or sex-appeal for me. I like the Pontiac Solstice though. There's rumor of a 250+ hp turbo version to follow the entry level car. At less than 2900 lbs, that might just be a fun little car to play with.

RP, you didn't validate my impersonation. How will I ever get the dialect and tone right if you don't say the line?
