Got Sirius?

Well, I've had sirrius for almost 3 years now, and loved every minute of it. Still have the same receiver that was in my truck in my Stang...

Well, last night my GF came home, and said she found a Sirius receiver really cheap, and wanted to get it for her car. I was a little sceptical, but went along. At Target they had the XACT XTR7CK car kit regularly $79 on sale for $39, so she bought it, and I just activated it about an hour ago. Sounds pretty good. It's a wireless FM modulator, receiver and display all in one little box, plus a remote (I wish it weren't the wireless FM Modulator, but it sounds pretty good still).

It is supposed to cost $7 a month plus a $10 activation fee for additional receivers, but for some reason it only cost me $3.70 plus $10 to activate...

COOL! Now I can listen to all my favorite stations when I'm in her car... Like here in a few minutes when I take my new wheels over to my buddy's house so he can get tires mounted for me in the morning...

I can also get a home kit or boom box for it... but we just listen to Sirius on the computer run through a nice Kenwood system, so tunes sound purty durn good...

Well, just wanted to let you guys know in case someone might be wanting one... Go get one, I say!

Thats a great deal considering how much the ip bus units cost.. My brother just got the pioneer airware for xm radio. He got it for like 200 dollars off ebay. It has car kit and everything. You can actually record kinda like tivo. I wish the ipbus units would have the flexibility.

I've had it for a few years now.

1-Kenwood deck with sirius tuner in my truck
2-Sportster in the Explorer <-- not a big fan of the FM modulator
3-Xact2 splits duty between my Kawi Ninja and the house

Love it

was going to start a sirius sucks/xm rules battle, but decided against it.

Good deal you got.
