Found a use for my old emblems...

I just got this today. Actually Mom got this for me. Said it was for the work I've done on her house over the summer, and what I'll be doing this fall...

I've been wanting a Craftsman Ball Bearing for years, but not anymore. This is all stainless steel. Ball bearing drawers with push latch. Internal keyed locks, 31" wide, 12 drawers plus a lift top, and even came with the non-slip drawer liners than Sears charges extra for...

Oh, yeah, I put the Ford oval from my deck lid, and one of the anniversary emblems from a fender...

I felt like a little kid out in the garage putting this thing together...

Now, time to clean the garage, and move everything in to it's new home. Even has room in the bottom for power tools...

Do you know where she got it? I remember a while back some guys were getting chests from Costco that were pretty nice.

That sucker looks pretty nice

I have several old emblems on my tool box as well...the unfortunate part for me though... I don't have a nice Craftsman box like that. One of these days...

Yeah, she got it at Sam's. I looked it up, and apparently they are exclusive to Sam's and Costco. This appears to be built very well. I'm extremely happy with it...

The funny part is, now I don't know what to do with the 4 or 5 portable boxes and bags that have been storing my tools for so long... Guess, I can use them for all the little brackets and such I have laying around in different boxes, and such...

I'll make do...

we used to have a guy drive around town in an old f-150 beater whose tailgate said "FO"

He used the 'RD' on his mailbox.

Nice box.....

Bet you never thought you'de hear that from another guy??

But really, that is pretty sweet. I guess I gotta get a picture of mine and show you. Its a MATCO box painted "Cool Coupe Blue" with gold trim. I got a slammin deal on it. It was on the tool truck and I asked about it. The guy said it was a repo and he just wanted the rest of the balance due. Dont get rid of the other boxes, there great to load up with stuff if you have to go somewhere else and need a few tools. This way you know where they are and not all over the back seat or in the trunk. Plus using them to store all your little brackets and screws is a good idea as well.

Thanks, uh, I think...

Well, I threw away my carry everywhere tool bag last night. It was torn and pretty nasty. I did save the other nicer tool bag for just what you said, carrying what I need to use when away from home. I also ended up with three empty larger plastic boxes. One of them now has an old carb, and some small parts I took off the stang, but others are empty...

I cleaned out the garage last night, put things where they need to be... I've been in this place since April, and just now am getting around to getting my garage arranged/cleaned. Now it looks almost empty... I even ended up with two small metal shelves that aren't being used. I figure though when I get the Belvedere back they'll fill up with parts...

What was really funny about it all was that I never ralized I had so many screwdrivers till I go them all in one place...
