Huh?

I saw a f-150 a few days ago, same bodystyle as mine(1999 model). It was just a plain jane extended cab. Under the f-150 emblem, where mine says "xlt Triton", this truck just said, "7700", or was it "7070? anyways, anyone know what that is?

That was the heavy payload package, also known as an F250 Light Duty when they first came out. Came with 7 lug wheels, different springs and shocks and whatnot.

Thats funny. I've never seen one until this past weekend while I was up in Connecticut. Had the 7700 emblem on the tailgate. That was the only physical difference I could see.

They've been around since 1997.

ahh, so its more of a work truck type deal? well, maybe not work truck, but a more heavy duty f-150. Yeah, i've seen the f-250's that look exactly like f-150's, but, if i wanted a heavy duty truck, i'd get the f-250 with the normal superduty bodystyle, i love those trucks. Anyways, thanks as usual for the replies guys.
