Does anybody know how to . . . .

. . . blow up buildings? Because . . . I'd like the DirecTV executive offices blown up, along with the CEO, the Board of Directors, and especially the ***-clown morons who direct programming.

I'm watching the US Open on the Universal/NBC High Def Channel. It's the Agassi vs Blake match.

Agassi loses the first two sets and it looks like it's going to be a blow out. BUT, Agassi comes back and wins sets 3 and 4 and was up 2 games to 1 in set five.

The announcer clowns state that USA Network will be breaking away in some markets due to contractual obligations . . . fair enough. They state that they will be breaking away on the East Coast, but that East Coast viewers can switch over to CBS and watch the remainder of the match -one of the great come backs in tennis - without interruption.

Viewers on the West Coast, they say, can continue watching on USA.

Just then, the feed on the NBC/Universal High Def channel cuts off and one of the numerous Law and Order shows pops up . . .

No biggie, I'll just switch over to USA . . . . .

big problem . . . USA on Direct TV is the East Coast Feed only, so I can't get the US Open on USA, even though I live on the west coast because F'n directTV is showing us the East Coast feed . . .

And, even though I'm shelling out 105 bucks a month for DirectTV, that 105 bucks a month does not get me the East Coast feed of the Networks . . . such as CBS.

So I call Direct TV customer service . . . .

I get bimbo brain on the line, who obviously doesn't even know what a TV is, and is reading her answers from a script.

I ask, why I can't get the CBS east coast feed.

She tells me I live on the West Coast

No Chit Sherlock, but still, I'm paying a ton of money, so why no east cost CBS?

She reads her script which tells me that do to legal bullchit I am only allowed to receive my own west cost local channels.

I ask why that doesn't apply to the East Coast feed of USA Network.

Silence.

I ask again

She sez "sir, I don't understand the question", and the re-reads the script she read the first time.

In the meantime, Agassi won, I missed one of the great comebacks of all time, all because of my geographic location and the fact that DirectTV shows us left coasters the east coast feed of USA Network . . . ***-clowns!!!!

Some people need to die because of this.

I concur.. The first to die should be tennis players. All other sports will follow that.

Except womens volleyball.

You could get Jamz to go over there, incite them to complain about how he parks...

I suggest having Triton park his truck in front of a load bearing wall. His brakes will fail, the building will come down and he can come back as Triton999 and tell us the story.

Kobster - while I'd love to help you out blowing up some buildings, my geographical location is preventing me from just coming over to discuss Direct TV's demise over a nice glass of chardonnay. I would suggest focusing your efforts on the Los Angeles Broadcast Center (LABC) and the Castle Rock Broadcast Center (CRBC). The LABC is in the Marina Del Rey area of LA (hopefully close to you) and the CRBC is in CR Colorado (perhaps UrbanCowboy can aid you in your task). It looks as if you can leave their broadcast facility in Long Beach alone as it serves the South America markets, not the US. Let them suffer with poor service.

Good luck!

We are talking tennis here right? Agassi? That the senior's tour right?

Hell I can walk across the street to the tennis club and watch that kind of action. All sorts of rebuilt knees, by-pass, bad back individuals returning ground strokes to other likeminded ex-athletes.

J/K Kobi, don't blow a fuse!

It is stupid not to carry it to conclusion.

dzervit -

Yeah, I know about the broadcast center in MDR . . . . used to go by it almost every day.

I don't want to nuke the tech, I just want all the suits in the exec office dead. (Their offices are in Lost Angeles too . . . .right next to L A International Airport . . . .)

That way, a message is sent, which hopefully all the replacement suits will learn from and they will change their programing practices . . . .

Suits . . . moronic, dipchit, mother*******s, a-holes !!!!!

OK . . . I feel better.

Serotta -

That's why this match was so great. I'm not a tennis fan actually, but every once in a while a match comes along that is a treat. This was one of them.

You had James Blake . . . a total Cinderella story, local hero, in this tourney as a wildcard, and was just kicking it!!!

You've got Agassi, doing well at 35 (and it might be his last USOpen . . . after 20 straight)

Started out with Blake killing Agassi - with Andre looking very much like a 35 year old. And there Agassi was, down the first two sets . . . and suddenly he woke up . . . and it was AMAZING !!!!

Agassi takes it to the 5th set . . . it's 2-1 Agassi in the fifth with everyone on serve . . . . and . . . . anyone with DirecTV on the west coast is S.O.L.

31 Charlie-
I hate football . . . . (except the UCLA-USC game).

I got some friends here that are air traffic controllers, I can see if we can redirect a training mission and send some AH-64 Apache Longbows your way. But, California is a long way away. I might be able to get you some support in texas though.....
