without reading 3 pages of BS.

I donated a TON of water!
Lansing Michigan is sending 3 buses full of water, and returning with 3 busses full of people.
Luckily, I'm moving in 2 weeks and I have a LOT to donate when they get here.

I'm going to have to side with Will and XLT on this one. It seems like his decision to go out in a boat and "pull children out of the rising flood waters" is all very knight in shinning armor-like. Why couldn't he have put in some time at shelter helping out there? Or why didn't he scrap up a couple mil and bring in a bus load of ice, food, or medical supplies? Seems just a little too self-serving. Are there any Sean Pean movies coming out? I can see him on Leno in about a week talking about the whole thing--Leno will totally kiss his a$$.

So Thrill, you think ARC is the best place to donate your money? I've always donated to salvation army, but I know they don't really do what ARC does in these types of disasters--so I'm looking for a legit place to donate--what do you think?

I think if Sean and is Hollywood buddies want to be of some use, they should be given push brooms and pointed toward the SuperDome.

****acOla,

Money to Hurricane Relief Effort 2005

The above link will let you print out and fill in exactly where you want your money to go. I like that fact. Because I want to know that my money is going to the Hurrican relief effort. I made my check out to ARC 2005 Hurrican Relief Effot, this designated it to be specifically used down south.

As for who to donate to, both are good causes. I would say donate a monetary amount (what ever you can afford is better than nothing!) to ARC and go through and clean your closet out and donate all of that to the Salvation Army. We do this about once a month and wind up usually with a bag full of misc. stuff.

He and his other buddies love doing this crap with the homeless. They spend a night in the streets with a homeless person and then spew how they understand them and how they helped.

If they felt so bad and "really" wanted to do something bring some home and put them up for 3 - 6 months for free...

can i get a Amen brotha!!!

If I had his money and wanted to go help

I'd take a LARGE grill every t bone I could buy, a truck load of pop and start feeding the heros that are on the ground saving people a good meal. A hot meal and cold drink does wonders for moral . Just remember while you are swearing at the cop for writing you a speeding ticket or fireman for blocking the street backing the firetruck in , in you time of need he's going to get there to help or die trying
